Will the real Slim Shady please TURN UP?!. Social media has been blowing up with newsfeeds talking about Eminem’s newest single “Rap God” off his highly anticipated album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, scheduled to be release on November 5th.
There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Mr. Mathers killed it. With his mid-tempo beats and his flick of the tongue raw lyrics, Eminem certainly does not disappoint. In this six minute track Em gives credit to rap legends like Tupac, Rakim, and Ice Cube for inspiring the self proclaimed “Rap God”. At this point, this is no argument. Eminem is coming back hard after his three year hiatus challenging those that question his skills based on the color of his skin.
If this single is any indication on what will be on the upcoming album then it looks like Em will be blessing our ears. Forget king of the underground, why be a king when you can be a God.
