Interview with Bobby Bandz (Self Proclaimed "White Trash Rapper")

South East Hip Hop Magazine recently spoke with rising Kentucky, self proclaimed "Red Neck White Trash rapper" Bobby Bandz about his new single, upcoming mixtape projects, his lifestyle as a "White Trash Rapper" and more!

South East Hip Hop Magazine:  What's up Bobby Bandz?
Bobby Bandz:  Not s**t just coolin listening to some new beats I'm writing to.

South East Hip Hop Magazine:   Why do you call yourself Bobby Bandz?
Bobby Bandz:  Bruh it just came about really my first name is Bobby and in my little small ass town for years now they all I knew I was stackin bandz.

South East Hip Hop Magazine:  You are proud to call yourself a country, red neck rapper.... what types of things do you talk about in your music centered around that red neck lifestyle?
Bobby Bandz:  Man I try to give listeners an inside look at my life the shit I've endured, that I've done and witnessed.  I grew up in a part of town that's almost like a hood for white people hah, but for real the shit I talk about is what I lived.  I bring the world of a country ass white boy that WAS out there getting money, trappin' and stacking.  All country motherfuckers ain't just good ol boys.

South East Hip Hop Magazine: How would you describe your latest single "Trap"?
Bobby Bandz:  Its just a straight mobbed out white trash banger I felt like when that shit dropped was when that snow ball affect started taking place it made shit fall into place with my music and it got more fans attention an it let them know I'm serious bout thus shit an we hear to stay

South East Hip Hop Magazine: Who did you work with for your latest single?
Bobby Bandz:  Man its pretty well just me an Snaxx he makes all my beats and Yung Bama records all my s**t but the collaboration I did was with my motherf**kin dog King Breez in a traxk called Louisville sluggers.

South East Hip Hop Magazine: Who are some of the artists and producers you normally collaborate with, or have worked with in the past?
Bobby Bandz:  For no longer then I've been doing this and taking the s**t seriously I haven't worked with very many other artist just my boy snaxx on the beats  Cheeks Money and J-Bo of Smokegang we did a song called "Rap ain't Workin".  That was my first collab.  I just met those dudes maybe 12 hours before we went and f**kin shut down the studio.  After that I drowned Louisville sluggers with my Koo Kingz Nation fam King Breez but there's more to come I bet that.

South East Hip Hop Magazine:  Who would you like to work with in the future?
Bobby Bandz:  Bruh I f**k with anyone that f**ks with me an has like minds but s**t jelly roll has been a huge influence on me as an artist so has Struggle Jennings.  I f**ks with a lot of TN rappers.  Starlito, Barbo, Gator but shit locally I'd have to say cocky Hopo Mack C.

South East Hip Hop Magazine:  Speaking of the future, what plans do you have for the rest of 2015?
Bobby Bandz:  I'm working on finishing up my first mixtape called The White Trash Tales.  A few videos, and hopefully some shows I'd like at least drop 3-4 mixtapes before the end of the year but just keep putting in work and perfecting my craft and keep making music people can f**k with vibe to and relate to.

South East Hip Hop Magazine: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Bobby Bandz:  Still doing me to the fullest but on a hell of a bigger scale.  I don't give a fuck about no fame or being a millionaire rapper I love making music so if I can support myself and the people in my life doing what I love to do then s**t I couldn't ask for much more.

South East Hip Hop Magazine:  Is there anything else you would like to plug?  Any shout outs?
Bobby Bandz:  Stayin on the look out for Bobby Bandz & Snaxx beats shout out to all my Muhlenberg people.  King Breez and my fam in Koo Kingz Nation we on that #KingS**t my homies outta Smokegang,  Yung Bama and anyone else who has followed my music believed in me or what I'm speakin all of those I didn't mention you wasn't forgotten cuz, we couldn't do it with out the fans and followers for real.
