Interview with Rhyme Scheme (winner of the SEHH Best of Album of the Month for Feb. 2014)




Check out our latest interview with South East Hip Hop Magazine featured artist Rhyme Scheme!  Rhyme Scheme is winner of the last months album of the month of Feb. 2014 on our monthly "Best of" list, and in this one on one in depth interview, Rhyme Scheme talks about that and more!



South East Hip Hop Magazine:  How have you been these days Rhyme Scheme?  What have you been up to?
Rhyme Scheme: First, I would like to thank you for this interview. I have super busy trying to make 2014 a break through year. It's a blessing.



South East Hip Hop Magazine:   You recently won South East Hip Hop Magazines' Best Album/Mixtape of Feb. 2014, for All Black, how'd you feel about that?
Rhyme Scheme:  It's an honor. I really appreciate the support from South East Hip Hop Magazine.  All Black is my story and they have help me convey it to the world.  Album of the month is a really big deal!



South East Hip Hop Magazine:  What responses have you been getting from All Black by the fans and listeners?
Rhyme Scheme:  All Black has been a success. A lot listeners have gravitated to the rawness and reality of my words. The responses have uplifted my confidence as an artist.



South East Hip Hop Magazine:  For the people that have yet to hear All Black, how would you describe the project?
Rhyme Scheme:  All Black covers all levels of emotion. The music expresses reality but at the same time can be a means of entertainment with the exciting melodies. It defines my journey as an artist.



South East Hip Hop Magazine:   Who did you work with for this project?
Rhyme Scheme:  The album features appearances from D.I.V., Camilla, and Revolver of Cobaine along with production from KZR Beatz, DJ ZTRFKR, and Joey Cutless.



South East Hip Hop Magazine:   You are recently starring on the new Underground Fix Mixtape, how did that come about?
Rhyme Scheme:  The Underground Fix Network provides an great opportunity for artist to showcase their talent. I was featured on one their mixtapes in the past and continued to build a relationship. Today, I have been featured in their magazines and several other mixtapes.



South East Hip Hop Magazine:   Who are some of the people that are on this new mixtape?
Rhyme Scheme:  The new mixtape will feature artist such as D.I.V, Jay Kasai, Revolver, and many more. The mixtape includes a very talented line up. Check it out.




South East Hip Hop Magazine:   What plans do you have for the Spring of 2014?
Rhyme Scheme:  Spring of 2014 is going to be critical. I plan to feature with more mainstream artist, shoot more videos, and tour. If all plans are a "GO", 2014 can be a big year.



South East Hip Hop Magazine:  You recently held a contest for your fans on Facebook, do you plan on doing more contests for the listeners in the future?
Rhyme Scheme:  Yes. I would like to thank everyone who has participated in the contest. The Facebook contest was a great success. A lot of fans supported my music and shared it with the world.


South East Hip Hop Magazine:  Is there anything else you would like to plug or mention?
Rhyme Scheme:  Shout out to everyone has supported the Rhyme Scheme movement. Shout out to South East Hip Hop Magazine, Robinlynne, Rob MacFarland of Rume Magazine, The underground Fix, and Hip Hop.
