My name is Moses Perkins and my stage name is LoWlife Molito. LoWlife stands for Loyalty Over Wealth. I started making music at the age of 18. I was a fully active basketball player until one day I went into the studio and made a song. From there I fell in love with making music. I have a self titled EP and my first album Harleyvillain dropped a few months ago. Now I have a recently released project called Harleyvillain 2 out now streaming on all platforms. In the 843 (lowcountry of SC), a guy named Nathaniel does a SC 30 top song list every week for our city and my song “Tesla” broke the record for being number 1 12 plus times and I still hold the record. My sound is fun, trappy, trippy, and just straight up creative. I would also describe it as jiggy and authentic. In regard to Harleyvillian 2, my crew and I feel like it will be my breakout project and a lot of pain is in it. I have a few videos from Harleyvillain 1 and 2 prepared to soon be released. There’s no exact release dates on the upcoming videos so stay tuned. I just dropped a video to one of my songs off the first Harleyvillain titled “RIDA” over a week ago which is doing pretty good thus far. My next project will drop sometime next year and is titled Still Serving. Be on the lookout for more content from

Interview with DJ King Shine (One of the Kings of South Carolina's Music Scene)

One of the biggest name DJs in South Carolina, DJ King Shine always supports South East Hip Hop Magazine featured artists (such as Some Kosher Yuppy, Wess MusiQ, ACM Recording artist Shif-T as well as others) by spinning their music, spreading the word and giving detailed reviews and testimonials on their singles and releases!  Now, South East Hip Hop Magazine decides to return the love and support by featuring DJ King Shine in this new one on one exclusive interview.  In the Interview, DJ King Shine talks about his first mixtape set for a 2014 release, the South Carolina music scene and more!  Read all about what he has to say below!

South East Hip Hop:  Why do you call yourself DJ King Shine?

DJ King Shine:  As a kid I was given the nickname Shine I just put the King On it.

South East Hip Hop: How long have you been spinning?

DJ King Shine:  I've Been Spinning bout 2 1/2 years now

South East Hip Hop: What inspired you to want to become a DJ?

DJ King Shine:  I've Always had a love for music I feel like I just gotta ear for great music.

South East Hip Hop: Where do you spin?

DJ King Shine:  I spin wherever they paying at.

South East Hip Hop: Do you put out any mixtapes?

DJ King Shine:  I'm working on putting together my very first mixtape I plan to have finished by mid 2014.

South East Hip Hop: What songs are you feeling right now?

DJ King Shine:  I'm Feelin That Track Young Jeezy Got out called "In My Mind".

South East Hip Hop: Who does DJ King Shine listen to on his own time?

DJ King Shine:  I have too many to name I just really love great music if its hot im on it.

South East Hip Hop: How is the music scene in South Carolina?

DJ King Shine:  The music scene in south Cak right now is really pushing right I support all aspiring up and coming local music!

South East Hip Hop: Who are some of your favorite artists in South Carolina?  Who is making noise?

DJ King Shine:  Right now I Gotta Say B.F.E And Big Kuzzo out of Allendale SC are my fave right now.

South East Hip Hop: Is there anything else you would like to plug?  Any shout outs?

South Carolina's DJ B-Lord Nominated for 2 Global Spin Awards!

October 9th, 2013 -- We are excited to announce that South Carolina's own DJ B-Lord has been nominated for not one, but two Global Spin Awards! DJ B-Lord, who is known for breaking new music and setting trends in the Southeastern US, is being recognized by the biggest awards organization for DJs in the world! B-Lord has been nominated for  "Southeast Club DJ of The Year" & "Southeast Mixshow DJ Of The Year"! The premier award ceremony will take place onMonday, November 18th, 2013 in New York City at the New York Times Center in Manhattan, and will be hosted by MTV's Sway. Joining B-Lord in the elite circle of GSA nominations include DJ Khaled, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Funkmaster Flex, DJ Drama, Kid Capri, Grey Street and many more.

If you're not familiar with the Global Spin Awards, they can be compared to the Grammys for musicians, or the Academy Awards for the film industry. The GSA's spotlight DJs around the nation who are trailblazers, making moves to build their empires, while still doing what they do best - rocking the crowds.

B-Lord has always been known around the Carolinas for being the best at keeping the crowds moving in the clubs. In addition to consistently DJing at clubs around the Carolinas 3-5 times a week, he currently has his own syndicated mixshow (Flight School Radio) running on three different stations: Coast 97.3 Wilmington NC, 99.3 The Box Charleston SC, and WYNN 106.3 Florence SC. He also has his own mixshow (Flight School) on HOT 103.9 in Columbia, SC Monday thru Saturday every week. As if that isn't already enough, B-Lord also currently has a creative endorsement deal with Grey Goose for his own signature drink "B-Lord's Happy Juice". With of all that under his belt, it is easy to see why he's nominated for the prestigious awards.
