G-Groove Entertainment Presents 4/20 Vol. Dime

G-Groove Entertainment, is proud to present 420 Vol. Dime. It doesn’t matter if you’ve ever smoked or not, everyone knows what “420” stands for, unless you’ve lived in a monastery all of your life. 420 Vol. Dime is the ultimate weed smokin’ album, and based on thousands of sales on previous versions, the streets have embraced it with open arms and now it’s time to distribute it to the world, no pun intended. Every track is an exploration into the world of weed, marijuana, ganja, chronic, bud, exotic or whatever you want to call it. From tracks explaining where to put the guts of a blunt on tracks like “Brown Bag” or how we always carry that “Loud Pack”, to explaining how the inside of our rides smell “Like A Pound Of Purple” or how we stay “In The Clouds”. The tracks on 420 Vol. Dime will constantly keep you blazin’ up. It doesn’t matter if you like strawberry, peach, grape, chocolate or if you still go old school and use the zig-zag, you are guaranteed to light ‘em and keep ‘em lit while listening. So split the blunt, dump the guts, pack it, roll it, light it, inhale, exhale. 420 Vol. Dime is for sale. And if you smoke enough to see Bob Marley, tell him we said what’s up!
Artists include Young Dirt, C-Bo, B-Elz Strap & Smiley of Travis Porter and many many more.

Lil' Buck Interview (Taks about being The Voice of Geismar LA, A Mill Before The Deal and Getting Buckwild!)

South East Hip Hop:  How are you doing Lil' Buck?
Lil' Buck:  I am doing well, my mix tape is gaining steam and the big boys are calling.

South East Hip Hop:  How did you get the name Lil' Buck?
Lil' Buck:  When I was a yungin; I was a bit buck wild hence the name was given to me and over the years it evolved into Lil Buck.

South East Hip Hop:  How would you describe yourself as an artist?
Lil' Buck:  A straight go getta', unique, not afraid to push the envelope.  If people tell me what I can't do, I will go out of my way to prove them wrong.

South East Hip Hop:  Who would you compare yourself to?
Lil' Buck:  No comparison, I am me.  My style is unique and represents who I am.  Have you seen my show?  After viewing my show people say I have my own style.

South East Hip Hop:  What type of beats bring out the best in what you do?
Lil' Buck:  I want to feel the production. I want to live with the track and become intrinsically involved.  I want the track and my lyrics to become one.  When I get that feeling I couple with the energy then that's a special track.

South East Hip Hop:  Do you pay for beats?  If so, or if not, what is your process for selecting beats?
Lil' Buck:  In some cases yes, in some cases no.  I gather all tracks which are submitted, I then work to narrow down the tracks accordingly.  The tracks are in a tournament and many get eliminated as I work toward my final four.

South East Hip Hop:  What producers have you worked with?
Lil' Buck:  Peace to my mans Hard Beatz, J. Mills (ATL), J. Skillz and J. Buck.  These cats hold me down and deliver heat.

South East Hip Hop:  Who did you work with for your single "Nyte Lyfe"?
Lil' Buck:  Hard Beatz was the producer.  It was one of those tracks that spoke to me.  It had a bonafide club feel and I was like I can F#@* with this.  I told Hard Beatz to lay it down and I penned a solid piece of hip-hop laurel.  "Nyte Lyfe" is one of the best club tracks out right now.  When people hear Nyte Lyfe they respond.  Many DJs have let me know how the audience reacts to this track.

South East Hip Hop:  What can listeners expect to hear on your mixtape A Mill Before The Deal?
Lil' Buck:  Heat coupled with energy and most important some brand new s**t!!!  A Mill Before The Deal will be a peek behind the curtain.  I am giving a huge slice of what to expect when the major deal becomes official.  I wanted to put together a solid project that people all over can relate to and simultaneously prompt DJs to select different tracks to bump.

South East Hip Hop:  We see you are from Geismar, Louisiana.... how is the music scene there?
Lil' Buck:  I am Geismar music.  It begins and ends with me.

South East Hip Hop:  Who are some of the artists that you listen to?
Lil' Buck:  I bump myself but I do check out 2 Chainz, E-40, Too $hort, Snoop and C-Bo. Snoop Too $hort and E-40 picked up my music via Twitter and I have formed a relationship with each of them. My Twitter handle is @lilbuckofficial

South East Hip Hop:  What other shows do you have lined up that you want to tell the people about?
Lil' Buck:  I will be in Hattiesburg, MS on the 19 April, Laplace, LA 27 of April, Hattiesburg, MS Taste Bar Lounge, 4 May Thibodaux, LA

South East Hip Hop:  What plans do you have for the rest of 2013?
Lil' Buck:   I will continue to continue grind and prepare for my major release. I will used the remaining portion of 2013 to prepare for an exciting 2014.

South East Hip Hop:  Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Lil' Buck:  An artist that people respect and one that has earned his way into the annuals of hip-hop lure.  I want to be that guy that earned his spot and represent my city and my region to the fullest.  In five years I will be bringing consistent heat to the game.

South East Hip Hop:  Is there anything else you would like to plug? Any shout outs?
Lil' Buck:  I am grateful to every DJ that has took a chance to spin my record and are now receiving positive feedback.  I also would like to thank all the fans that are following me and whom appreciate my music.  Remember to follow @lilbuckofficial.

Reebok drops Rick Ross after Controversial Lyric

Rick Ross' controversial lyrics has come back to hit him where it really hurts, his pockets. Reebok has reportedly dropped Rozay as a spokesman. TMZ Reports: Rick Ross just learned a hard lesson about r*pe and money ... you embrace one, you lose the other ... because he was just DUMPED by Reebok. As TMZ previously reported ... Ross has taken a ton of heat for his song, U.O.E.N.O ... in which he spits,

"Put Molly [Ecstasy] all in the champagne. She ain't even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain't even know it."

Translation -- date r*pe. Reebok tells TMZ ... "Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so." Reebok continues: "While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones s-xual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse." Reebok received pressure to dump "the boss" particularly from Ultra Violet, a women's rights organization. Last week, Ultra Violet held a protest at the Reebok store in NYC.  Just today, artist Rocko dropped a new version of "U.O.E.N.O." without a Rick Ross verse. About a month ago, Rick Ross appeared in the Reebok commercial for its "Live White Hot" campaign.

Let us know what you think in the comments:

Waka Flocka angers Black Women during a New Interview

First Lil' Wayne, then Slim Thug and now.....Waka Flocka is one of the latest rappers to piss off.....black women.  In a recent Interview on Hot 97 this is what Waka said

“…used to be black girls was the baddest shit, you know what I mean? Spanish, J-Lo be poppin’ … white women are poppin’ right now, man. They f**kin’ poppin’. Imma just be real.”

Speaking of "poppin' white women", Waka Flocka recently tried to get at "poppin' white actress" Danielle Fishel (best known for her role as Topanga in the 90s television series "Boy Meets World").

So what are you saying Waka Flocka, that black women aren't "poppin'"???

What do you all have to say about this?

Are you a black woman?  If so, how do you feel about this statement?

Voice your opinions in the comment section below!
